Description: Fear, depression and anxiety appear to run the day for so many people in our world today, but Christ offers us something so much more. One of his first words to the disciples, when he has them all together, after the resurrection is: “Peace, be with you.” In this word, peace, we have the recipe for a lasting rest that cannot be taken away from us, no matter what trials we may face. We all want to be at peace, here, Jesus shows us that in order to grasp it, we must focus on the resurrection as a fact of history.
