Coming in 2024, Our Sunday Visitor will publish Let Us Begin: St. Francis’ Way of Becoming Like Christ and Renewing the World.
This is my first book to be published and it will focus on who exactly this man was, why his way of life was so attractive, and how his words and witness can bring about renewal. The premise of the book is that the world will have conversion when each individual begins the process of their own ongoing transformation of holiness.
Let Us Begin shows how Francis was not just an animal lover who spoke about the trees and the birds. He was a man fascinated with the heart of Christ and who desired to radically follow Jesus, no matter the cost. Discovering what that means for us today will change the world.

Thomas Griffin is the chairperson of the religion department at a Catholic high school on Long Island where he lives with his wife and two sons. He has a masters degree in theology and is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Empty Tomb Project: The Magazine.
